Setup Two-Way
Talk [DVR PRO 4/8/16]
[This note applies to all
ICR Pro series DVRs]
Note: In
the picture, the number represents the step number in the walkthrough.
Step 1: Login to the DVR as administrator through the
net client software. Click on “Manager Login”. Proceed with picking the correct
host name and enter in you’re administrator password.
Step 2: Once logged in, click on “Remote Config”
towards the bottom left hand side.
Step 3: Now click on “Host System Setup”.
Step 4: Navigate to the tab at the top of the newly
opened window and click on “Audio”. You must make sure that “Chan. 1” is set to
“Include”. After that’s set, click on “Apply” at the bottom.
Step 5: Now you should be able to use two-way talking
by pressing the “Remote Talk” icon towards the bottom right hand side.

Step 6: You should now be able to talk through your
microphone that’s installed at your computer and hear it coming out of the
device installed on the audio out connection of your DVR.
Step 7: To end the two way talking, simply press the
icon again.
Note: If no sound can be
heard when all the steps are complete, make sure your microphones volume is set
to a considerable level and that the audio out device’s volume is set as well.
