Backup Video files to CD/DVD Disks [DVRPRO4/8/16]

 

 

[This note applies to all ICR PRO series DVRs]

 

Step 1: Connect the external CD/DVD burner to one of DVR’s two USB ports (Front or back). CD/DVD burners certified by ICR include: Sony DRU810U and Sony DRU820U.

 

Step 2: Turn on the power of the CD/DVD burner. Insert a blank CD/DVD disk.

 

Step 3: Login to the DVR as administrator. Press “Enter” or “Menu” Key for the password prompt. The default password is “333333”.

 

Step 4: Press the “Menu” button to enter the main menu. Then press the down arrow key twice to show the second page of the menu which contains the choice of “DATA MANAGE”.

 

Step 5: Enter the “DATA MANAGE” Menu, Select “BACKUP”

 

Step 6: Select the Camera (Channel), input the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time, and press “Enter” to search for all the records for this camera meet the time criteria. A list of video records will be displayed.

 

Step 7: Move the cursor to the “BACKUP” and press “Enter”, all the files in the list will be burned to the CD/DVD. If only one file is needed, move the cursor to that file and press “Enter”, only the selected file will be copied to the CD/DVD.

 

Step 8: Wait until the BACKUP Completion message is displayed to take out the CD/DVD disk. This disk has been closed. It cannot be used to archive more data/files.

 

Please mark the disk immediately of the Date, Time, Camera, and Event description.
